About Pyrce
Pyrce Luk Ka Ying (陸嘉瑩) began her career with a degree in Marketing before completing her Master of Fine Arts at The Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2023. In between, she worked across advertising, barbering, and product formulation — a path that continues to shape how she makes work.
Her practice centers on kinetic installation and mixed-media sculpture, examining the logic of desire and its interplay with systems of signs. For Pyrce, art-making is both a dissection of the outside world and an attempt to make sense of the world within.
She has exhibited in Canada and Hong Kong in recent years, including a solo show in Hong Kong, and currently lives and works in Hong Kong.
Ongoing project updates and experiments will be posted on social media, view my Instagram
