"WATER & GRASS"
A photographic series inspired by my experience with the few remaining Nomads in the outskirts of Mongolia during one harsh winter. Nomads, are guided by the search for water and grass. Many nomads annually migrate to the city Ulaanbaatar city for warmth and better living conditions, with only a few ever returning. This series explores our shared nomadic quest for our "water and grass"—our personal symbol of comfort and survival. I found it particularly resonant in current times in my home town Hong Kong, where migration is being considered by many in pursuit of better life and essential needs. Yet as we embark on this search, what exactly are our own '"water & grass'"?
